Jo & Murray's have a special place in our hearts and memories! Top notch accommodations, but our favorite part was the unique private wine tour that they offered! We loved the company, the local expertise, and we are going to remember this experience in NZ wine country for the rest of our lives!

Muzz & Jo are truly lovely people, and their amazing hospitality made their place even that much more enjoyable. So friendly and helpful! We enjoyed a lovely evening chatting with them and other guests. They are located in a great location in Blenheim, very close to wineries. The Bunker is perfectly equipped, and Jo has stylishly decorated it as well as their main house! The place is equipped with a small fridge, sink, electric pan, plated, silverware, among other kitchen equipment. There is also a lovely patio to enjoy coffee in morning or great Marlborough wine in the evening. The Bunker is very clean.
 

Exceptional place! So stylish, beautiful and private but just two blocks from grocery, shops and restaurants. Many thoughtful touches! Best Airbnb we have ever stayed!

Murray and Jo's house was a delight to stay in , beautifully furnished with lovely decks in a delightful heritage area of Nelson. The house was very well presented, clean and in a quiet area close to town. We loved the wine and chocolates. We appreciated the warm welcome and quick responses from Murray and Jo. Great place we'd highly recommend.

Murray and Jo’s place is lovely cottage set in a tree-lined heritage street in Nelson. It has great facilities (like staying at a friends house) and some lovely antique furniture and trinkets throughout.

Murray and Jo is the epitome of an amazing host. We felt so taken care of. Murray’s and Jo's place is a wonderful home-away-from-home with really thoughtful and fun touches. The neighbourhood is very quiet but very close to Marlborough's best cafes, restaurants, wineries and brewery. I’d highly recommend this for anyone looking to visit Marlborough needing a quiet, cozy, and cute place to relax. What a gem of a place to stay in!

Jo and Muz were great hosts and their delightful house with pool was just what we needed after a 30 hour trip from the Uk. We were a family of 6 visiting NZ and were very pleased to see the improvements that Jo and Muz had made, they have created a stylish, comfortable and modern home. This was perfect for our needs and handy for the supermarket & town.

A great place to stay! The bunker is a refurbished and stand-alone building on the main property so you have complete privacy. It's beautifully decorated and very spacious. Murray & Jo were in and out of their home during our stay but were always contactable. They offered some very helpful advice on restaurants and were even kind enough to leave a bottle of local Sauvignon Blanc in the fridge for our late arrival on New Year's Eve. I can't say enough good things - our best AirBnB experience yet. 

Murray & Jo are what AirBnB is all about. Their warm welcome, faultless hospitality and invaluable local knowledge made our two night stay in the Marlborough an absolute delight. The space is comfortable and well appointed, and the hosts strike the excellent balance of being welcoming without being intrusive. It makes you wonder why you'd check into a motel when you could have a unique stay such as this. The bathroom is 5 star standard (underfloor heating and strong water pressure too) and the decor of the place is very homely. Were we ever to be in this neck of the woods again, the choice would be simple!   

The Bunker offers a clean and comfortable stay with unique charm and character while being centrally located to everything. The hosts Murray & Jo add to the experience with numerous recommendations and insight of the area and the numerous things to do. They offer wine touring packages in a premium vehicle which beats most other tours and wine excursion options. Make sure you ask them about the excursions they offer! Overall, a wonderful stay with warm friendly hosts! Highly recommended!   

So hard to decide what to rave about first! This home is so lovely, warm and inviting. The living space, kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms are so well decorated and efficient. The pool and pool house are so perfect for lovely days spent relaxing with friends. The house is a short walk into town and so close to the grocery, all around so convenient a location. Jo and Murray were beyond gracious and accommodating. We feel so lucky to have met them. Their recommendations totally made our trip, not just while we stayed with him. Such delightful people. We would come back just to stay here again.  

There isn’t enough stars to give this place! We absolutely LOVED this house. THE most stylish, cosy, friendly house we have stayed in. Feels like you are staying in a catalogue show house but it’s so cosy, Jo and Muzz make you feel so at home, they are super friendly and hospitable. Huge outdoor area, bean bags, pool house, great swimming pool, HUGE space indoors to relax - and the room and bathroom were stunning! Jo needs to share her passion and creativity more widespread - she has such a great eye! Literally 5 minutes into town, great bars, pubs and restaurants! Wish we stayed longer!

The bunker is set in the garden of the main house but is carefully screened with trellis & plants for privacy. There is a lovely sun trap outside the bunker doors to catch the morning sun...maybe while having breakfast. Inside the overall impression is of a stylish, clean, white and bright space. The bed was comfy with crisp bed linen. Importantly the bathroom is first rate, spacious and the towels large and fluffy. The kitchenette has a sink, fridge, kettle, toaster and all the bits and bobs to help you get together a light meal. There are lots of quirky touches to give the bunker a special character of its own. Our host Murray was exceptionally helpful with lots of solid information about the local restaurants, wineries and so on. We enjoyed our brief stay. Thank you Muzz & Jo!

Shared moments and making unforgettable memories are the name of the game here, be it chilling by the pool, cuddled up on the sofa with a glass of red, a candlelight evening meal in the rockstar outdoor setting or watching the sunset from the kick ass pool house. Showcasing what seems like a lifetime of collectables - the old, the new and the exotic - this place presents a Pandora's box inviting hours of exploration. Teamed with ultimate luxury of plush bedding, the fluffiness of towels, gorgeous bathrooms, even chocolates by the bed (!), this place provided the ultimate relaxation to kick off our once in the lifetime Christmas break to NZ. Thank you Jo and Muzz for sharing this incredible home with us - one to remember!

My partner and I stayed at this gorgeous place last week and LOVED it! So homely, beautifully decorated and close to Nelson City as well as lovely bush. A perfect spot for a weekend in Nelson. The hosts were very friendly and helpful via emails and calls, and the recommendations they made were great and delicious. We would definitely be back next time we are in the area!

Our family of four stayed at this lovely cottage recently. Jo and Andrea were friendly and welcoming and went out of their way to accommodate our requests (we needed to store some luggage whilst we tramped the Heaphy Track). The cottage is beautiful, comfortable and has every possible amenity. It is within easy walking distance of Nelson central city and proved a wonderful base for our holiday. The welcoming card , bottle of wine and iced water in the fridge were lovely touches, Would heartily recommend.

This was our second time staying in the Boutique Bunker in Blenheim, we absolutely love the place and Murray & Jo are amazing hosts. Fantastic location and such a stylish little bunker. I can guarantee that we will be back again.

I was lucky enough to stay at this rental in Blenheim through the peak of summer. We were a group of 7 and the house accommodated us just perfectly. There was even an option to rent an additional self contained cottage for friends that we planning to stay for a night or two. It was very close to Blenheim CBD and only a two minute walk to the supermarket. The trip to the boat ramp in Picton was only a 25 minute drive which was extremely handy. Fantastic outdoor area with a BBQ to cook our catch on. Murray and Jo were an absolute pleasure to deal with and very good to correspond with. They were happy to forward on any information for questions we had. Would recommend this house to anyone who wants to have a relaxing holiday with the comforts of your own home. A+++

Fabulous house. Absolutely gorgeous. Everything you could ask for and more. Owners were fantastic to deal with. Great location being a very short walk to shops. We had awful weather over our week away but house was so comfortable we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
